About OTUSA
Ocean Township United Soccer Association

Established in 1975, OTUSA was established with the objective to create a positive experience for kids while allowing them to learn sportsmanship, increase physical fitness, and develop soccer skills. With over 300 athletes and dozens of dedicated coaches and volunteers, OTUSA is one of the most respected soccer programs in New Jersey.

The club hosts two core programs: a Spring Youth Recreation Program for children in Kindergarten - Grade 2 and a highly-competitive travel soccer program. The recreation program introduces soccer to young players in a fun, learning environment. The travel program accommodates both youth boys and girls travel soccer teams from ages U-8 to U-18 and competes in the MOSA, MAPS, JAGS, and EDP soccer leagues throughout the region. Each team is managed by a volunteer coach, while training is conducted weekly by a professional trainer for all travel players. OTUSA fosters an environment where players at different levels of technical ability can still develop in a competitive environment. Many of our small-sided age groups have two or three teams as a result of this philosophy.

OTUSA hosts the annual Jersey Shore Champions Cup every June. Since it's inception in 1975, the tournament hosts more than 240 teams from across the Northeast every year. Funds from the tournament are used to subsidize programs to further the development of our players, such as a free foot skills program and dedicated goalkeeper development program. The investment in development has paid off with many OTUSA teams competing in the highest level of competition across the country. In the spring fo 2015, the U14 boys OTUSA Spartans were NJ State Cup Champions, Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions, and National Cup Finalists, which is an outstanding highlight in the club's storied history.
